Typist Needed Part Time

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 35 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA, our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. Our mission is to provide high-quality behavioral health services in an environment that values service excellence, respect, and ethical standards, integrity, compassion, and teamwork.
We are currently recruiting a part-time Discharge Summary Transcriptionist. This position has a flexible schedule and is located in our HIM Medical Records Department. Medical Records Discharge Summary Transcriptionist is responsible for reviewing patient records and completing a summary of the hospital stay upon discharge.
Qualifications: Education and Experience Master's Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field OR licensed nurse. Prior experience in transcription or medical discharge summary preferred.
