Typist Needed Part Time

Located in Shippensburg, PA, our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We are currently recruiting a part-time Discharge Summary Transcriptionist. This position has a flexible schedule and is located in our HIM Medical Records Department. Medical Records Discharge Summary Transcriptionist is responsible for reviewing patient records and completing a summary of the hospital stay upon discharge.

Qualifications: Education and Experience Master's Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field OR licensed nurse. Prior experience in transcription or medical discharge summary preferred.
