CMB Regional Centers is looking for a Paralegal to support the General Counsel and legal team in a regulated environment.The Paralegal will assist with any litigation as well as provide support for financial transactions.
This is a full-time role with dedicated hours Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm, with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule after the first 90 days.
Essential Job Functions
Maintain well-organizedlitigation matter files and keep litigation calendars current
Run the eDiscovery workflow
Support loan closing end-to-end
Draft/compile and manage closing documentation under attorney direction.
Prepare and maintain electronic closing binders
Draft client facing communications for attorney review
Proofread documents with meticulous consideration and keen eye for spelling, grammatical, and formatting errors.
Conduct legal research to support corporate actions and decisions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge, skill, and ability to correctly use and apply legal terminology
Demonstrated capability torun eDiscovery workflowswithappropriate documentationrigor
Experience supportingfinancial closingsand comfort coordinating multi-party deal processes.
Exemplary writingand proofreadingskills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability tocollaborateand communicate(both written andverbal) effectivelyand professionally.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies,legalstudies, or a relatedfield
Three (3) years’previouswork experienceas a paralegal orsimilar rolerequired.
