Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Med-Surg/Oncology unit. Preferred schedule includes 48 hours guaranteed.Unit InformationNumber of Beds: 36Patient Ratios: 1:6Unit Staffing: Includes Clinical Care Coordinators, RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and Unit SecretaryType of Equipment: I-med, I-mobile, Neurons (vital signs machine), Glucometer, PCA, Wound Vac, Chest Tubes, Surgical DrainsDocumentation System: MeditechScheduling Requirements: Every other weekendPatient TypeThe unit serves Med-Surg, Oncology, and Hospice patients and accepts hemodynamically stable patients requiring cardiac monitoring without interventions.Hiring ProfileRequested Skill SetTeam-orientedPositive AttitudeAbility to stay busyPatient-centered approachCertifications RequiredBLS (Basic Life Support)Typical Procedures Performed on the UnitWound Vac changesDrain removalIV/PICC line managementFoley catheter insertion/removalNG tube insertion/removalFloating AreasMay include Med-Surg and Telemetry (Med-Surg level patients).Dress CodeNurses are required to wear Pewter (gray) and PCTs are to wear Caribbean Blue.WeekendsNo on-call required.LocationIndependence, MOClient Details Address 19600 E. 39th Street State MO Zip Code 64057
