Key Responsibilities of the RN Med Surg

Provide comprehensive patient care on the Med Surg unit

Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and responses

Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans

Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and care plans

Requirements of the RN Med Surg

Current RN license in Texas

BLS certification

Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience
