Tax Accountant

Location: Lexington, KY

Type: Full-time, In-office (Hybrid model potential after proven performance)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Accountant to join our growing firm. This is an exceptional opportunity for an accountant with a strong background in tax preparation and planning to become a part of a reputable firm that values work-life balance and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Preparation and Planning: Provide comprehensive tax services, including preparation and filing of individual and business tax returns.

Client Management: Maintain and enhance client relationships through excellent service and support, ensuring timely and accurate tax submissions.

Tax Advisory: Offer strategic tax advice to clients to optimize their tax liabilities and ensure compliance with current tax laws.

Collaboration: Work closely

Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience as an accountant specializing in tax, preferably within a similar-sized firm.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. CPA is not required but is a plus.

Skills:

Exposure or knowledge of tax laws and regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Location: Candidates must be local to the Lexington, KY area or planning to relocate independently. Relocation assistance is not provided.
