TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Simi Valley, California, 93064!
Key Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
Collect, assess, and analyze patient data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and measurable outcomes
Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating care delivery across disciplines and promoting patient safety
Collaborate with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team to provide care in a safe, healing, and patient-centered environment
Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide health education to patients, families, and team members
Supervise and delegate duties to nursing staff using critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor required
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Minimum of two years of recent Telemetry or relevant RN experience
EPIC electronic health records experience required
Holiday time-off requests will not be approved during the contract period
Preferred Experience / Skills

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Acute care facility experience
