Registered Nurse (RN): Medical Surgical
We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team for a travel position. This role is vital in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• 137-bed acute care hospital
• Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center
• Wide range of services including cardiology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, OBGYN, emergency services, gastroenterology, hospitalist services, nephrology, hematology, urology, podiatry, pulmonary medicine, and wound care
• Level 2 Nursery for neonatal care

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the medical surgical unit
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Educate patients and their families about health management and self-care
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical surgical nursing role
Current nursing license valid in the state of practice
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Orientation
Orientation for new hires occurs weekly on Mondays.
