TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Salem, Virginia, 24153!
# Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Virginia Start Date: September 14, 2026
Three 12-hour shifts per week; includes 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; shift huddle begins at 6:45 AM
17-bed inpatient Labor & Delivery unit with 2 triage beds; Advanced maternal-fetal equipment including Monica Novii, ambulatory telemetry monitors, and GE electronic fetal monitoring

• Full-spectrum L&D experience: vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, antepartum triage, PACU recovery, and circulator duties
• Specialized procedures performed on unit include external cephalic version (ECV), vacuum/forceps-assisted deliveries, and epidural placement support
• Hospital-provided scrubs; Active RN license

AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or C-EFM certification required
Labor and delivery experience with strong fetal monitoring strip interpretation skills
Proficiency in IV insertion, lab draws, blood administration, and nitrous oxide administration
Experience with vaginal exams, delivery table setup, cesarean section circulating, and PACU recovery for spinal anesthesia
Knowledge of JADA and BAKRI balloon procedures, common OB medications, and obstetrical complications/treatments
Ability to assist with epidural placement and demonstrate a teamwork approach to patient care
May float to Mother-Baby/Postpartum units as needed
