Audiologist Contract | Outpatient Medical Office | New York

Contract Length: 13 weeks (possibility of extension) Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Hours: 40 hours per week Setting: Outpatient medical office building connected to a large hospital campus

Job Overview: We are seeking a qualified Audiologist to join a collaborative healthcare team in a comfortable outpatient medical office setting. The audiology department works closely with ENT providers and is located within a medical office building directly across from a large hospital campus, allowing for strong interdisciplinary collaboration and access to hospital resources.

This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive audiological care while working in a supportive and patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations and diagnostic testing

Assess hearing, balance, and related disorders

Interpret test results and develop individualized care plans

Collaborate closely with ENT physicians and healthcare providers

Provide patient education on hearing health and treatment options

Recommend and manage hearing aids or assistive listening devices when appropriate

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records

Follow established clinical protocols and patient care standards

Requirements:

Master's Degree in Audiology (required)

Active New York State Audiologist License required by start date

Strong communication and patient care skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical teams

Experience in diagnostic audiology preferred

Work Environment:

Outpatient medical office building Located adjacent to a major hospital campus with specialty services including NICU Small, supportive department with close collaboration between Audiology and ENT teams
