About the Position

Registered Nurse – Oncology (Infusion)

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
Administer infusion and chemotherapy treatments to oncology patients in a clinical infusion setting
Monitor patients during infusion therapy and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or changes in condition
Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes within the electronic medical record system
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care practices
Required Qualifications
Active North Carolina RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be active or pending with a clear ETA)
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Demonstrated chemotherapy administration experience and competency
Recent experience with EPIC electronic medical records
Preferred Experience / Skills
Previous travel nursing experience in an oncology or infusion setting
Additional certifications such as ACLS or ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification
