Parts Clerk

Transdev is hiring a Parts Clerk. The Parts Clerk is responsible for the receipt, verification, labeling, storage, documentation and security of all parts and supplies in the parts room. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Receives and stocks parts.

Conducts price and quality survey.

and maintains a clean and orderly parts room.

Enters necessary data into computer program and ensures accuracy and reliability of the data.

Orders special parts for repair orders, following order to maintain proper inventory levels.

Operates parts recordkeeping system per location needs.

High school diploma or equivalent

• 3-5 years of parts or vehicle maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Computer literate with an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Work inside and outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions, 50% of the time will be working alone.

Sit for extended periods of time processing data/parts on a computer, frequently walk on the shop floor, possibly on slippery or uneven surfaces.

Push and pull objects, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
