LDRP RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position. The shift includes three 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with every third weekend required.

Job Description

The LDRP RN will be responsible for providing care to labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients. The RN will work with high-risk obstetrics and couplet care, ensuring that the needs of both mothers and infants are met through comprehensive nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care for labor and delivery patients, including high-risk obstetrics.

Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing during labor and delivery.

Administer medications and care according to established protocols.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Document all observations and care in electronic medical records using Epic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience.

Current RN license in South Carolina or compact state.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM, NRP.

Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced, STABLE.

Epic charting experience is required.
