General Information:

- 9 L&D

• 3 swing rooms
• 2 ORs
• 3 bed OBED
• Patient Ratios: 1-2

- Staffing Description:

• Unit Secretary
• Scrub Tech
• Dedicated CRNA & Midwife in-house 24/7
• OBGYN on call

Equipment & Documentation:
- Documentation System: CPN and Meditech
Scheduling Requirements:
- 4 weekend shifts/month
Floating Policy:
- May float to m/b or outside department to task
Patient Experience Requirements:
- Remain above 75%
Hospital Specifics - Certifications:

- RN, ACLS, BLS, NRP

- Fetal Monitoring

- Must Have:

• Drive to provide highest quality of care to our laboring patients
• Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities specific to patient preference

- Advanced Skills Helpful:
- Spinning Babies

- STABLE

Procedures Performed on Unit:
- Circulating in OR

- IUPC, FSE

• MgSO4, pp hemorrhage - JADA system
• Nitrous oxide

Dress Code:

• Hot pink and black
• Preferable hot pink on top; may wear black on bottom
