Develop and optimize mechanical designs for manufacturing processes.
Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
Conduct stress analysis and simulations to ensure product integrity.
Collaborate with production teams to implement design changes and improvements.
Select and specify appropriate materials and manufacturing techniques.
Troubleshoot design-related issues during production and assembly.
Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise.
Document design processes, specifications, and test results.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

• 3+ years experience in product design within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Demonstrated experience with DFM/DFA principles and their application.
• injection molding, machining, sheet metal fabrication).

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with SolidWorks PDM or similar data management systems.
Familiarity with simulation software (e.g., FEA, CFD) for design validation.
Working knowledge of GD&T principles and their application in manufacturing.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for automation or data analysis.
