Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to members across the club as needed, answering any questions they may have.

Maintain a clean, neat, and member‑ready area.

Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team, communicating with the team and being flexible to the needs of the business.

Demonstrate knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation, maintenance, and sanitization.

Prepare meat products (cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming) according to established standards.

Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and support associate engagement.

Ensure commitment to operational excellence, maintain work area according to company policies and procedures, and manage quality and date control standards for meat products.

Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area, modeling high‑quality service and products, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion for the work.

Apply company policies, procedures, and ethics, using the Open Door Policy and related action plans.

Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners, and recommending improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in a meat department or similar customer‑service role.

Basic knowledge of inventory management, sanitation guidelines, and safety standards.
