We do this by offering the highest quality food in the industry which means, our food is great; As a Line Cook , your main responsibilities will be to prepare our fresh daily hand cut chicken, breading it in our uniquely seasoned breading and frying it to perfection in our state-of-the-art fryers, manning our griddle plate where we toast our authentic Texas toasting bread, and grill our cheese and bacon for our famous club sandwiches. A huge part of who we are and what we are about is our fun loving, non-corporate environment, so as a Layne's Line Cook you will be part of our culture which ensures everyone has fun while we serve our guests our "Soon To Be Famous" TM chicken fingers.
Communicate with front cashier and drive thru on the number of customers present.

• Communicate with other cooks on food status and speed.
• Assist with prep.
• Ensure the kitchen remains immaculate, cleaning as often as possible
• Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Have experience in a fast-food concept.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Layne's was established in College Station in 1994. After years of perfecting our craft, we're ready to graduate to bigger markets and we'd love for you to come with us.
We only serve four main products: Soon to be Famous™ Chicken Fingers, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Secret Sauce and Texas Toast. This allows us to provide the best quality food with the most efficient service.
