Job Title: Specialist, Manufacturing Engineering
We are seeking a Specialist, Manufacturing Engineering (1st Shift) with a focus in Welding to join our Manufacturing team in Canoga Park, CA.

At our Canoga Park, CA (Los Angeles area) facility, we design & manufacture rocket engines and unique power systems that support space exploration & the defense of our nation such as NASA’s SLS, Lockheed Martin’s THAAD, Sierra Nevada’s Dream Chaser, and the Mars Perseverance Rover.

Document best practices to support production
Assist with root cause analysis and disposition discrepant hardware
Communicate effectively between team members and customer counterparts

Requires practical knowledge of welding and general fabrication. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. B welding, manual, In-Place-Tube and/or Automatic GTAW
Experience with weld, braze and assemblies’ specifications
1 or Journeyman Weld certifications
Moving large structures or hardware
