As a Armed Security Security Cleared Officer in Poway, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and access concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities.
Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
