Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves, make life a little easier by providing compassionate care in the comfort of our care receiver's home.SHS empowers seniors to continue living independently by caring for day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age.Qualifications:Enjoy working with our senior populationBe a caring, empathetic, compassionate and reliable individualUnderstand the importance of our services to our seniorsHave a positive attitude and be dedicated to our SHS missionHigh level of emotional intelligenceAbility to follow detailed instructions to execute our care planMaturity to deal effectively with the demands of the jobMaintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by SHSBe proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been completedCompanionship and Homemaker Duties May Include:Provide companionshipAssist with light housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc…Shopping and errandsMeal preparationMedication remindersPet careLight yard workLight handyman servicesOvernight supervisionIncidental transportation to doctor's appointments, family, or their favorite restaurantPersonal Care Duties May Include:Assist with dressingAssist with feedingAssist with showering / bathingMobility assistanceAssist with toileting / incontinenceMemory careOther Responsibilities:Arrive on time for all servicesCaregivers may be contacted by management outside of standard office hours when coverage is needed for open shifts.Maintain documentation of all services providedRecord and report changes in the client's physical condition, behavior, or appearance to our office staffCommunicate regularly and proactively with our office staffParticipate in relevant in-service opportunities and other informational meetings when possibleClock in and out using our care management systemBenefits:$16 per hourFlexible scheduleEarn extra incomeLasting relationships
