Systems Engineer 2

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift (Hours TBD)

Securitas is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Systems Engineer 2 to join our team in Plano, TX. This position plays a critical role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing security technology systems while ensuring reliable performance and exceptional customer service.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively troubleshoot system issues, support ongoing projects, and collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Support access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related security platforms.

Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.

Perform system testing, upgrades, updates, and preventative maintenance.

Assist with project implementation, commissioning, and system integration activities.

Associate degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience supporting technology, security, networking, or electronic systems.

Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic network infrastructure.

Experience with access control, video management, CCTV, or physical security systems.

Knowledge of IP networking concepts, including TCP/IP, switches, routers, and network troubleshooting.

Experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
