Traffic Engineer PositionNational award-winning engineering firm is seeking a highly motivated traffic engineer professional. You will craft designs for traffic signals, lighting, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) components, ensuring efficiency and safety.Planning and documentation: Prepare detailed design plans and associated documents, ensuring clarity and accuracy.Traffic analysis: Conduct traffic analysis and compile insightful reports to support project decision-making.Efficient delivery: Complete tasks within schedule and allocated hours while maintaining high standards of quality.Develop project quantities and contribute to cost estimates and detailed reports.Assist our engineering teams by providing organizational and administrative support, ensuring smooth project operations.Versatility: Independently manage various responsibilities, from research and data collection to field investigations and project development.Adaptability: Embrace additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of our projects.What You'll Need:A bachelor's degree in engineering, along with 3 - 5 years of relevant experienceWhat You'll Bring:Showcase proficiency in applying engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles to your work.Software skills: Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, or any other software essential for your role.A bachelor's degree in engineering.Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.Proficiency with traffic analysis software.Familiarity with lighting software.
