Registered Dental Hygienist
Our office, Periodontal Associates Inc, in Lyndhurst OH, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. In addition to our stunning Lynhurst office, we also have a beautiful location in Mentor, offering the flexibility to work from either office based on business needs.
We are looking for a talented and skilled Dental Hygienist to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in maintaining our patient's oral health and promoting overall well-being. If you are dedicated, detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping patients achieve excellent oral hygiene, we want to hear from you!
Perform thorough and accurate oral assessments to identify patients' oral health conditions.
Clean and remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth using various dental instruments.
Administer local anesthesia to patients as required for dental procedures.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash.
Take dental X-rays and process them for the dentist's evaluation.
Schedule: No weekends or late evenings
As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.

Newly licensed Dental Hygienist are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
A high school diploma
Hygiene Provider State Licensure
Must be able to operate standard office equipment
Must be able to work around medical equipment and instruments
Must be able to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards
Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations
