A well-established, patient-centered family medicine practice in Kings Mountain, North Carolina is seeking a Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join its team. The practice is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care while maintaining efficient and organized office operations. The front desk plays a vital role in ensuring every patient feels welcomed, supported, and cared for from the moment they arrive.
This position is ideal for a friendly, organized professional who can manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

The Medical Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for managing patient check-in and check-out, scheduling appointments, handling incoming communications, verifying insurance, and maintaining accurate patient records within the electronic health record system. This role serves as a key connection point between patients, providers, and administrative staff, helping ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.

Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries
Register new patients and update demographic information
Monitor incoming faxes and route documents (referrals, lab results, etc.)
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Prior medical or office experience preferred, but not required
Comfortable working with EHR systems and basic office technology
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation: $15–$18 per hour, based on experience
