CNC Machinist
Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist role in Vancouver, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality precision components. With a focus on continuous improvement, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence at every stage of their manufacturing process.
Set up and operate CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, and Vertical Machining Centers to produce high-precision parts.
Run multiple machines (13) simultaneously while maintaining tight tolerances and production efficiency.
Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining and quality standards.
Select, install, and align tooling, fixtures, and materials for optimal machining performance.
Calculate and set machining parameters including speeds, feeds, coolant flow, and depth of cut.
Perform in-process inspections and final quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Complete First Article Inspections and document results per ISO 9001 standards.
Document scrap, machine downtime, and production activity accurately.
Perform routine preventative maintenance, including cleaning machines and monitoring fluid levels.
Communicate effectively with team members and across shifts to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in training or mentoring less experienced machinists as needed.
High school diploma or GED required; 2+ years of CNC machining experience, including setup and operation.
- Proficiency with CNC controls such as Haas, Fanuc, or Okuma.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools and perform detailed inspections.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Competitive hourly wage: $25 $34 per hour (DOE).
Shift differentials for swing, graveyard, and weekend shifts.
