Registered Nurse (RN) - Multiple Shifts Available
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units. The RN ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care, while demonstrating a commitment to the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization.
Responsibilities

Obtains and records initial assessments and establishes priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
Reassesses patients systematically to identify progress and trends requiring intervention.
Develops and implements a measurable individualized plan of care for patients within the established timeframe by Nursing Standards of Care.
Makes comprehensive nursing decisions based on the interpretation of facts and evaluations of patient outcomes, modifying the plan of care as necessary.
Participates in the health education and discharge planning for patients and their significant others.
Implements and documents timely interventions appropriate to patient needs and evaluates the plan of care.
Performs various Point of Care testing procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
Current BLS Certification required from AHA.
Current ACLS Certification required from AHA.
Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
Knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served.
Communicates in a clear, concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of patients.
Schedule
Multiple shifts available with weekend and on-call requirements.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
