PHLEBOTOMIST - Weekend Shift

Phlebotomist II – Alpharetta, GA 30004

Duration: 3 Months

Shift: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday–Thursday, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. Friday

Note: Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.

Job Requirements

Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.

Flexible and available based on staffing needs (weekends, holidays, on‑call, overtime).

Commit to all Policies & Procedures, including company dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles.

Make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.

Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record (if applicable).

Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations; cover Patient Service Centre/In‑Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.

Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high‑volume setting.

Demonstrate superior customer focus; communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors, and patients; accelerate and embrace change; and know the business.

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Work Experience

Three years of phlebotomy experience (pediatric, geriatric, & capillary collections).

Minimum two years in a Patient Service Centre environment preferred.

Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.

Keyboard/data entry experience.

Additional Job Details

Location within 20–25 minutes of the site.

Direct phlebotomy experience as listed in the resume is the basis for selection.

Overlapping roles do not count twice.

Candidates must have reliable transportation to get to/from worksite; being dropped off by bus, Uber, or rideshare is not reliable.

Must be available to work whenever scheduled; arrive on time; stay for the entire shift. Excessive absenteeism/tardiness is not tolerated and may result in termination.
