RN- Ambulatory Care Unit (Nights)

Cleveland Clinic

Join Cleveland Clinic’s South Pointe Hospital where research and surgery are advanced, technology is leading-edge, patient care is world-class, and caregivers are family. This community-based teaching hospital is a prominent figure in the communities in and around Cuyahoga County known for its quality patient-centered care and active participation in community programs, events, and volunteer activities. Here, you will work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers, receive endless support and appreciation, and build a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.

The 41-bed unit at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital is divided into two specialized areas that operate together as one cohesive unit: a 19-bed Medical-Surgical (MS) unit and a 22-bed Observation (Obs) unit. The MS unit provides caregivers with broad nursing experience by caring for patients with conditions such as pneumonia, congestive heart failure, infectious diseases, asthma, and COPD exacerbations, helping nurses build well-rounded clinical skills and knowledge. The Observation Unit offers a fast-paced environment focused on safe, high-quality patient care for adults requiring expedited evaluation and close monitoring for less than 24 hours. Serving a mix of ER and inpatient populations, the Observation unit requires nurses to be highly adaptable with strong assessment skills, as patient conditions can change rapidly. Together, the combined unit provides diverse learning opportunities, high patient interaction, and strong professional development for nursing caregivers.

As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers with providing exceptional care to patients from initial introduction to discharge. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare education as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills.

Take advantage of industry leading benefits, including our RN Loan Repayment program, which helps pay off student debt, and our Tuition Reimbursement program to reinvest in your career. And if you’re relocating to join us, you could be eligible for relocation assistance.
