Tax Accountant
This is a full-time remote role for a Tax Accountant at a growing U.S.-based company. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for helping us scale operations, with a strong preference for someone who is fluent in Chinese to better serve our expanding Chinese-speaking client base.
Qualifications
Language requirement: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin/Chinese is required and non-negotiable
Experience: 3+ years of related experience

• 1–3+ years of experience in US tax preparation (U.S. personal and business taxes) is required
• Proficient in handling sales tax and payroll tax
• Fluent in Chinese-Mandarin – verbal and written.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Highly detail-oriented, trustworthy, and organized
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Willing and able to learn internal tools and adhere to our security protocols

Prepare and file personal and business tax returns
Handle sales tax and payroll tax filings
Review client-provided financial information and ensure accuracy
Communicate with clients regarding tax-related documents and deadlines
Assist in maintaining up-to-date client records and documentation
Be available for extended hours during tax season
Compensation: $ 1,500 - $ 2,500 per month, paid in USD depending on experience.

Independent contractor agreement paid 2x monthly.
Client has a desire for long-term commitment.
