Dishwasher - Weekends and Evening Shift

Hooligan is a neighborhood restaurant in Logan Square built around thoughtful food, genuine hospitality, and a collaborative team culture.

Our philosophy is simple: exceptional hospitality should feel effortless. Behind every great service is a team that takes pride in its work, supports one another, and pays attention to the details.

We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Dishwasher to help keep our kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently.

As a Dishwasher, you are essential to the success of every service. You ensure that dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready when the team needs them.

You’ll work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain a safe, efficient workspace.

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.

Operate the dish machine properly and follow cleaning and sanitation procedures.

Keep the dish station clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.

Maintain clean floors and keep work areas free of debris and standing water.

Assist with cleaning kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas as directed.

Communicate equipment issues, supply needs, and safety concerns promptly.

Previous dishwashing or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and scheduled holidays.

Competitive hourly compensation.

Hands-on training and clear expectations.

Opportunities to develop kitchen skills and grow within the company.

Health, dental, and vision insurance, subject to eligibility.

You understand that clean plates, organized equipment, and a well-maintained kitchen help make every service successful.

If you’re looking to join a restaurant where hard work, teamwork, and genuine hospitality are valued, we’d love to meet you.
