The Custodian is responsible for daily cleaning/housekeeping, upkeep, and general maintenance of assigned location.Clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, kitchens, conference rooms and health and/or first aid rooms.Maintain cleaning room supply inventory, basic equipment, and general maintenance of custodial equipment.Deep clean individual offices per schedule and general office cleaning.Pick up trash throughout building and grounds.Timely communicate building issues to supervisors.Effectively operate sit down and/or push vacuums on all carpets/rugs, spot clean carpets/rugs, mop and buff floors.Strip, scrub and wax all floors.Load, sort, and deliver Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Move or assist with moving boxes/furniture and other requests to complete projects and scheduled tasks.Main OfficeClean showroom.Conducts monthly inspection of fire extinguishers, emergency lights and water valves.PlantOperate sweeper/scrubber on plant floor aisles.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of general maintenance, housekeeping, and/or custodial experience.Focus on serving customers, both internal and external.Knowledge of and ability to utilize cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.Preferred SkillsBasic mechanical aptitude.Ability to effectively accomplish work with minimal supervision.Lozier reserves the right to modify, interpret, or apply this job description in any way desired and the essential job functions may be modified to reasonably accommodate qualified individuals with a disability.
