Registered Nurse- Endocrinology Clinic (Full time: Monday-Friday)

Hourly Pay Range:
$33.96 - $52.64 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Registered Nurse Triage - Endocrinology
Full Time: 40 hours / week
Hours: Varies Monday - Friday, day shift. NO WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS, OR ON CALL.

Under the direction of the Supervisor, the Triage Nurse is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient care needs through the use of inbound and outbound telephone practice. The Triage Nurse continuously demonstrates positive customer relationship skills by assessing caller needs through active listening, clinical assessment, education and advanced problem-solving abilities. The Triage Nurse will actively manage patient's immediate and ongoing needs with attention to acute and preventative intervention. Duties include: phone triage, patient education and Continuous Glucose Monitor placement, testing, insurance pre-authorization and referrals, clean and stock exam rooms. This is working at a growing Endocrinology practice.
Current Illinois RN licensure
Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
Office RN and BSN preferred
Prior work experience in a Endocrinology setting, highly preferred
Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal
Flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, evening and Saturday rotation
