Bistro Restaurant Server

Provide the highest level of quality and service to our guests in an incredibly friendly atmosphere. Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests at tables in the restaurant.

Assist in preparing the restaurant for dining service by setting up section, including preparing items such as linens, silverware, and glassware.

• Greet all guests promptly in a warm, personal, friendly manner.
• Confirm allergy indicators on food orders and follow proper procedures when handling or delivering allergy-sensitive items.
• Maintain active communication with kitchen and management to stay informed on menu changes, 86'd items, allergy notices, and special instructions.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system in a timely manner.
• Monitor guests' physical condition when entering the restaurant and bar; monitor alcohol consumption while on the premises to ensure all HCR and county serving policies are followed. Take appropriate steps according to HCR policies to reduce the occurrence of alcohol related issues.
• Maintain awareness of table numbers, guest seat numbers, and dining room sections to ensure accuracy and efficiency in service.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, taking extra care to perform any additional table-side preparation or service as required for items served.
• Describe and recommend wines to guests; bring selection to the table with appropriate glasses and pour the wine for the guests.
• Remove dishes and glasses from tables, and take them to the kitchen for cleaning. Prepare certain hot and cold non-alcoholic beverages for guests.
• Present accurate checks, manage special requests (such as split checks) and process payments efficiently and accurately.
• Assist the entire service team throughout the meal period to ensure all guests' expectations are exceeded.
• Restock service areas and maintain organized and sanitary workstations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.

• Communication - Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, guests, and management to ensure all needs are met.

• Computer Skills: Must take and pass all training tests 85% or higher.

• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Non-slip shoes, back belt if lifting over 25 lbs, safety glove when using knife.
• Frequent use of stairs while carrying items and constant movement around the restaurant.
