We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to become an integral part of our team!
Responsibilities
Ability to identify Manufacturing Process Constraints
Design and implement Manufacturing Process Improvements
Identify and select Manufacturing Capital Equipment and prepare necessary appropriations requests
Support or lead projects to develop manufacturing capability to build new products
Support new or improved manufacturing systems that improve quality, deliver performance, and increase efficiency
Lead and/or work on projects that support global manufacturing operations
Provide expertise and support manufacturing, engineering, the contract logistics center and field support
Preparation of financial analysis for capital expenditures for tooling and equipment needed in support of existing product lines or processes
Maintain positive teaming relationship with internal and external customers, co-workers
Provide leadership to a project team as assigned, mentor/lead other engineers
Qualifications
Knowledgeable in troubleshooting electromechanical systems
Experience with drafting/CAD/3D modeling
Fixture design experience
Minimum 4 years (or 2 years with an M.S)
Experience with energetic materials, including propellants and explosives, is highly desirable
Experience with cost and schedule
