Tellers / Bank Teller

Position Summary:At Bryant Bank, we aspire to provide legendary service to our customers. The Teller works on the front line of our operations, performing a variety of transactions to assist customers with their financial needs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Receives and accepts deposits and loan payments, confirming accuracy of transactionCashes checks and disburses funds after verifying signatures and sufficiency of funds to support withdrawalsEvaluates checks to verify dates, identification of persons receiving payments, bank names, and legalityEnters transactions in bank’s recordkeeping system, recording all transactions and producing customer receiptsMaintains a cash supply and currency to meet daily needsBalances all monies in cash drawers accurately at the end of shiftsUses relevant information and judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standardsIdentifies and capitalizes on opportunities to promote new banking servicesDevelops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over timeMaintains a work area that ensures the safety of all negotiables and confidential recordsPerforms other related duties as assignedKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Customer and Personal Service - knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
