HR Generalist/Employee Relations/Payroll

Big Horn Rehabilitation and Care Center is looking for an energetic and dynamic individual to head up our Human Resources and Payroll department. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to take over all aspects of the Human Resources department with minimal oversight and be able to work with a multi-faceted team and a diverse workforce.

The HR and Payroll Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources and payroll functions within the facility.

Adherence to Policies Must show courtesy and respect to other employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, the general public, etc. Abide by Eduro HealthCare’s drug and alcohol policy. Maintain good personal hygiene and dress and groom appropriately. Report on time as scheduled and follow all company policies and procedures. Participate in and respond professionally to surveys (inspections) conducted by government agencies.

HR and Payroll Manager Duties include

Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.

Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures; End to end recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers; assists with career-path program and employee relations counseling; Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings, such as seminars. Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws

Training of employees and managers on how to accurately submit and correct their worked hours and submit for vacation and sick time

Responsible for accurate employee entry into HRIS and timekeeping systems

Processes payroll efficiently, timely and according to all applicable federal, state, and local laws

HR Expertise.

Experience with PayComcloud-based HCM software

A bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR and payroll experience

Preferred eligibility qualifications HR Certified Professional (SHRM-CP or PHR) credential
