401K, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D and competitive compensation of $115,000-$130,000 depending upon experience.

The Process Engineer - RNG will work primarily on industrial biotechnology and renewable energy projects. The candidate shall have experience surrounding the design and operation of renewable natural gas facilities including knowledge of carbon intensity modeling (GREET), digester feed handling, anaerobic digestion, biogas purification and handling of digestion discharge streams and all related applicable engineering codes. This Process Engineer will be placed in a key engineering role, working within a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver and operate successful RNG projects on behalf of ownership by performing the following:

Prepares process flow diagrams and mass and energy balances.

Analyzes performance of existing operating facilities and develop interventions to optimize or improve performance.

Analyzes equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine appropriate designs and contractual needs.

Reviews Process and Instrumentation Diagrams working with internal and third‑party engineering resources.

Determines pathways and plans to improve facility reliability and uptime.

Participates in HAZOP and PHA studies on behalf of facility ownership.

Performs process engineering activities as well as works with Operations team to support operating sites and may act as Process Lead on medium to large projects.

Manages multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.

Interfaces directly with project managers, engineers, third‑party engineering firms, EPC firms, construction personnel, operations personnel and other project stakeholders relative to overall project or facility success.

Liaises with upstream, project developers/operators and consultants on Clean Energy RNG project investments.

Assists operations with troubleshooting activities and replacement of equipment or spare parts.

Supports compliance of off‑take pathways by monitoring critical instrument health and ensuring accurate reporting of production numbers.

Drives safety culture by ensuring Process Safety Management and Risk Management Program compliance.

Travels to operating sites 20‑50% of the time.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university, 3‑5 years of related experience and/or training; Preferred degrees are chemical, process or mechanical engineering.

Language Skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers and the general public. Ability to communicate effectively with multiple project stakeholders.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret extensive technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.

Knowledge of database and project management software, mechanical, P&ID and electrical engineering design and concepts. Solid experience with AutoCAD design software. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
