Role Description This is a remote role for a Sinhalese OPI/VRI Interpreter at AsiaLocalize. The Interpreter will be responsible for providing accurate and culturally appropriate interpretation services during OPI/VRI sessions. Accurately interpret complex medical terminology in both languages.
Qualifications -Fluency in Sinhalese and English (both spoken and written) is required.
- Proven experience in medical interpretation, certification in medical interpretation Is a MUST (e.g., Strong knowledge of medical terminology in both languages.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with legal and ethical standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends (if necessary).
Previous experience working as a medical interpreter or in a healthcare setting.
Certification or accreditation in medical interpretation.
Flexible scheduling (depending on position type).
