Position Overview: Empower Memphis is seeking dynamic, student-focused teachers to establish a strong academic foundation for our inaugural cohort of students. Founding teachers will play a critical role in building an engaging and rigorous classroom culture while setting the standard for instructional excellence.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid Tennessee teaching license or willingness to obtain one before the start date.
Proven experience in classroom teaching with measurable student achievement outcomes.
Strong classroom management skills and cultural competency.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Passion for educational equity and student success.
