You will contribute to user interface features and core editing algorithms, gaining hands-on exposure to production-grade Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software.
Responsibilities
Develop and enhance interactive editing tools, graphical canvas components, or schematic/layout manipulation capabilities using C++ and Python.
Extend and maintain the Python API layer to enable seamless automation, custom extension capabilities, and programmatic data access for users.
Design and implement intuitive UI/UX features, dialogs, and interactive editing modes using Qt to streamline how users interact with complex graphical designs.
Debug application issues, write unit/integration tests, and participate in peer code reviews within an agile software engineering workflow.
Qualifications
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a technical discipline with an expected graduation date after Summer 2027.
Proficiency in core data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical ideas clearly within an engineering team setting.
