Peoplelink Staffing , in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Tuscaloosa, Alabama area, is seeking Material Handlers to join their team! This facility offers a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!

Material Handler Job Summary:

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• Rig materials for safe loading and unloading
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and overhead cranes
• Read Bills of Material to pull and stage materials for production
• Verify incoming materials against Bills of Material and packing slips
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies
• Document materials received and shipped
• Follow all safety and material-handling guidelines

Material Handler Qualifications:

• Previous material-handling or warehouse experience is preferred
• Must be able to operate a forklift safely
• Previous rigging and material-handling experience is preferred
• Must be able to read and understand Bills of Material
• Previous overhead crane experience is preferred
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move materials as required
