Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.What You Will DoResearches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.Analyzes and evaluates new or improved electronic components. Includes power generation, transmission and distribution, rotating machinery, illumination, wire communication systems and servomechanisms.Includes circuit theory, computer design and development, instrumentation, radio communications, semiconductor devices, solid state devices, and television systems.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.Professional electrical engineering design experience to include electronic design, troubleshooting, analysis, and test (circuit card level through systems level)Experience using electrical engineering design and analysis tools such as: Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic, Xilinx Vivado, or equivalentExperience using test equipment, such as: Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Network Analyzers, Power Meters, etc.Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics, or performing advanced FPGA firmware development (VHDL, or Verilog).The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Due to the nature of our business, remote work is not possible.Qualifications We Prefer Experience leading focused multi-disciplinary teams doing hardware integration to include tasking responsibilityExperience working with programming real-time operating systems or embedded systems Excellent technical writing and formal presentation experience A working knowledge of computer architecture and computer hardware optimization techniquesExperience with developing and implementing programming languagesExperience utilizing integrated development environments and debugging tools to troubleshoot software Ability and willingness to utilize existing designs as a starting point to interface with new units under test (UUTs) and UUT configurations when necessaryExperience with troubleshooting and root-cause analysisExperience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design, or VHDL/Verilog development for FPGAs.What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
