COUNSELOR (Full Time POSITION)

Job Description

Northampton Public Schools – Bridge Street Elementary School, Northampton, Massachusetts.

Bachelor of Adjustment Counselor (1 position). Working 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday from 7:50 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Requires MA DESE License Certification in Adjustment Counselor/School Social Worker (all levels), official university/college transcripts, and background checks (MA CORI and SAFIS National Fingerprint).

Salary: Teacher Unit A scale based on experience and degree. Starting date scheduled for August 24, 2026.

Job Requirements

At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Citizenship/residency or work visa required.

University/college transcripts required.

MA DESE License Certification in Adjustment Counselor/School Social Worker (all levels).

Acceptable MA CORI and SAFIS National Fingerprint Background Checks required before employment.
