Head of Technical Programme Management

Overview This role at Apple involves leading a team of engineers in support of new product development and sustaining operations. The focus is on ensuring contract manufacturer readiness for high volume production and driving technical operational issues related to SMT and system integration processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision assembly and project management. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work in a global environment.
Qualifications 5+ years of strong work experience in precision assembly, inspection, and validation.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering field.
Meaningful experience in introducing products into manufacturing or high volume production.
Excellent project management skills and experience working in a matrix organization.
Direct experience leading functional engineering teams such as ME, EE, TE, or DFX.
Experience working with international OEM partners.
Ability to travel internationally up to 40%.
Validated working experience with DFm and DFx.
Consistent record of cost reduction, project management, and engineering design.
Strong knowledge of GD&T principles.
Working knowledge of pneumatics, servomotors, PLC, and PC-based control systems.
JMP, Minitab, and Six Sigma experience.
Master's degree considered a plus.
