Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days, 3x12s (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite | Every other weekend and holiday required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a float pool capacity, rotating across Telemetry, Med Surg, and Cardiac units as needed
Manage an average patient ratio of 1:7 in a 495-bed, Level II Trauma Center
Utilize EPIC EMR (required) for documentation and patient management
Adhere to all float pool requirements, including flexibility to cover surge units
Follow facility dress code, including navy blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
Active Virginia RN License or Compact License
ACLS certification (AHA only) required
BLS certification (AHA only) required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry / Med Surg experience with demonstrated Cardiac experience
Previous travel nursing experience required; no block scheduling will be accommodated
Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of Med Surg Telemetry experience in an acute care setting
• Experience floating across multiple units in a high-acuity environment
• Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center workflows
