Job Description
Title: Labor & Delivery RN
Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing
• Travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Epic charting experience required
• Active compact license
• Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (ACLS preferred)
• Skills: Labor & delivery care (low & high risk), triage, couplet care, assisting/circulating for C-sections and GYN surgeries, blood/blood product administration, IV infusion of medications including magnesium sulfate, heparin, and insulin, familiarity with epidural and PCA pumps, wound care, and central line maintenance

• Provide care for patients during labor and delivery processes
• Attend and assist in all deliveries, including high-risk
• Circulate for C-sections and GYN surgeries
• Monitor and support patients throughout the labor and delivery process
• Administer medications and manage IV fluids as per protocols
• Provide postpartum care for mothers and newborns

• Must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays
• Floating to Post-Partum and NICU may be required based on skill set
• Background checks will be conducted; facility does not accept Nursys or background hits
• References: 2 required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Pre-start modules typically require around 16 hours of completion before starting
