Medical Receptionist
At MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network, caring for kids is more than what we do it's our purpose. FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday, occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
This position will support our Mary Bridge Pediatric Outreach, Specialty, Urgent Care, and Primary Care Clinics and may be assigned in the following locations:
* The Medical Receptionist is the first in-person point of contact for a patient on behalf of the medical practice. They are responsible for all aspects of front office duties assigned by a clinic. Duties include variations of, receptionist dutiesgreeting patients, answering phones and directing calls, assisting patients/families; scheduling, registration, charge entry, payment posting, batch balancing, cash reconciliation/balancing, operating several types of basic office equipment, etc. This is an intermediate level position requiring excellent customer service skills. It is highly visible, requiring discretion, good judgment, a pleasant and professional manner and articulate phone voice. Post high school office procedures preferred
Minimum one (1) year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six (6) months in a medical setting
Customer service experience
Medical Office Assistant, Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator) may be substituted for experience
