Cytotechnologist II

We're hiring a Cytotechnologist II who brings advanced expertise to our laboratory team and plays a lead role in ensuring high-quality, accurate cytology services. In this role, you'll combine specialized diagnostic skills with leadership, training, and quality oversightserving as a technical resource and mentor while helping drive continuous improvement across the department.

Assess specimen preparation quality and staining methods, leveraging experience with a wide range of preparation techniques.

Take a lead role in developing, implementing, and maintaining new procedures, instrumentation, and laboratory-related computer functionality.

Train and mentor cytology staff, including onboarding new team members and evaluating technical performance.

Support quality assurance, regulatory compliance, proficiency testing, and ongoing review and updates of departmental procedures and reports.

An experienced Cytotechnologist with advanced knowledge of cytologic morphology, disease processes, and treatment-related cellular changes (including chemotherapy and radiation effects).

Comfortable taking ownership of projects, serving as a technical expert, and functioning as a go-to resource for the team.

Experienced in quality control, regulatory requirements, and laboratory compliance standards.
