Project Manager - TransmissionNorthStar Energy Solutions, a Quanta Services Company, is seeking an organized and experienced Project Manager - Transmission to lead the planning, execution, and closeout of high-voltage electric transmission and distribution construction and maintenance projects.What You'll DoProject Leadership & ExecutionDirect all phases of the project lifecycle—from kickoff through commissioning and closeout.Lead project handoffs from the estimating department and finalize baseline schedulesAccurately identify schedule constraints and responsible parties; update schedules weekly and manage unplanned events.Planning & CoordinationDevelop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and compliant execution.Serve as the primary point of contact for project updates, challenges, and resolutions.Financial & Risk ManagementMaintain cost tracking, change order management, and risk mitigation plans.Manage and report project financials, including Percent Complete, Cost-to-Complete, and WIP metrics.Maintain and coordinate change order logs with operations for formal client requests.PMP®, CMRP®, or equivalent professional certification preferred.Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple fast-paced projects with competing deadlines.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, customers, and permitting agencies.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.Working knowledge of billing processes, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)What You'll GetAs a Quanta Services employee, we offer a wide range of benefits to fit your needs.401(k) with immediate matching and vestingFully comprehensive benefits packages; Medical, Dental, Vision Your choice of PPO, HSA, FSAShort term and long term benefitsEmployee discounts on consumer goodsEqual Opportunity EmployerAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
