Overview Kimley-Horn is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the MEP team in our Tampa, Florida (FL) office! Responsibilities Ability to oversee the plumbing design of projects from concept to completion, including continuous interface with the design team and clients.
Mentor and coordinate the work of designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
Manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projects
You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships
Ability to lead production in Revit & AutoCAD
You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors on multiple project types including: Office
Industrial/Manufacturing
Proven design experience with comfort and HVAC systems and related controls
Proven design experience with plumbing systems including water, sewer, and gas
Experience producing engineering and energy studies including comcheck, Title 24
Experience mentoring and coordinating the work of EITs, designers, and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projects
Able to manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidance
Experience in AutoCAD and Revit is required
