Start Date would be early August for the upcoming 2026 - 2027 Regular School Year
Full-Time
Develop and deliver vocal and/or instrumental music instruction for elementary through high school students, including classes and production groups of up to 14 students
Coordinate class schedules with school administration and support music programming during school hours, with occasional after-school and weekend productions
Collaborate with teacher specialists to align music curriculum with state academic standards
Plan and oversee student performances, including organizing productions, creating promotional materials, and communicating with families to coordinate volunteers
Use a multidisciplinary approach by working with staff to support students' behavioral and cognitive needs, and collaborate with the drama teacher as musical director when needed
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, supervision sessions, and assist with school events and other assigned duties
Bachelor's in Education or a related field is required
Special Education credential is preferred; or the ability to qualify for an Intern Credential Provisional Internship Permit or Short-Term Staff Permit
Relevant experience in vocal and/or instrumental music instruction
At least 5 years of experience teaching music to children in individual, group, or classroom settings
At least 2 years of experience working with children with special needs
Experience producing or directing children's musical performances is preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and computer skills
